"My trip with The Mist and The Stone was the trip of a life time. Christy knew the back roads, special places to eat, shop and sleep, small church yards, sacred sites, and places of great natural beauty. She varied the pace and gave us peaceful days to really enjoy a place and then a day or so of exciting travel from one wonderful location to the next.
Dr. Karen Porter - Scotland and England

"Tour Guide Extraordinaire! Thank you for pulling it all together so beautifully. All the sites we wanted to see, however remote, plus extra wonderful surprise discoveries."
Nancy Carter - Ireland

"I cannot recommend The Mist and The Stone tours highly enough. The itinerary was well thought out and a very manageable pace for getting the most out of the natural beauty. Our guide arranged KG/B stays that were marvelous, with very amiable and professional hosts and great breakfasts. Christy has a very good grasp of the essence of the British Isles and communicates beautifully. I came away with a lot greater understanding of the history of the people and. the land. She brought it to life with stories. She is an extraordinary person. I felt that she had taken care of all of the arrangements very smoothly and efficiently, so I didn't have to bother. She is suite experienced in traveling that area of the world. Her patience and depth of know- ledge, enhanced by her great sense of humor, made the whole experience a life changing experience for me."
Claire Graham - Scotland

"After all the months of anticipation, our trip was over much too quickly. What I expected as a pleasant tour turned into a wonderful adventure with many surprises, delights and visions of beauty. We can't began to thank you for all of your time and effort and good humor in making our trip one we will never forget. Next year Scotland !"
Sheila and Phil Ross - England

"I will never ooh and aah at anything again." When asked why, Christa said, "Because I am using up all the ooh's and aah's I have been allotted in my life time on Scotland." and then added, "And I've only been here one day!"
Christa Pate - Scotland

"I just wanted to tell you how much I enjoyed the trip. You are so knowledgeable and you have great way of being informative without being too "tour guide-like", if you know what I mean. I felt like I was traveling with a couple of friends."
Faye Livingston - England

"This year was made so special in many ways - certainly one of them was our trip with you to Wales and merry, olde England. What a grand time we had. Your rollicking, rolling revels couldn¹t have been more fun. All your dear "friends" along the way (yes, even in the car parks), your favorite shops, restaurants, W.C.¹s, views. lanes. pasties, roadways, parks, gardens, and walks were so graciously shared. We really enjoyed seeing "Carmen" in the moonlight at the Minack Theatre. That was special. Thank you! Thank you!"
Dev and Gene Weeks - Wales and England
